»Light Up« is an interactive map showing partner universities of the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrueck, Germany. The user interaction takes place on a circular table. On this table users can place prepared objects to interact with the installation. They can adjust the desired distance from Osnabrueck and choose a partner university close to the chosen distance when rotating the object. The table functions also as display showing valuable information on the destination and the exact distance from Osnabrueck.
The installation was created as part of the semesterproject 2014 on behalf of the president of the University of Applied Sciences. Showing the university in its different facets, the artifact brings visitors, employees and students even closer to the values of the institution.
